Peace of Mind

Hello Faith,

2025 has been an eventful year… thus far. I know we’ve only just lived through February but somehow my feelings have felt as if it’s been on a 200 MPH roller coaster. But, let’s rewind to New Year’s Day; where all my dreams, goals and desires seem to have been laid out before me so clearly and concisely. Understanding that from January to December I will undergo through drastic changes, for the goal is to be transformed and renewed in the Spirit; obtaining knowledge, wisdom and new habits along the way... Writing that out actually got me to understand that the reason for my emotions being on an ongoing rollercoaster is because my subconscious knows that the person I am now will not be coming with me in the latter days. Now that I understand my current self is resisting change, I can see why old habits have been pounding on the door of my mind, trying to convince my flesh to stay in this vicious cycle of staying stagnant.

Called for greater, but where do we start? I remember when La Esperanza de Tu Casa was put in my heart, it was an afternoon in a foreign country where I resided for a little over a year. My mother, Esperanza, called me to tell me she was invited to Univision to do an interior design segment on, ‘how to decorate your home with what you have’. And if you’ve had Esperanza design your home, you know she’ll look at what you have in your home first before going to shop for new design materials. For, she understands that for some reason, said décor is in your home due to it creating some spark in you to make you want to purchase said piece. Identifying what’s important to you is key to our design process, since we are here to make your vision a reality.

And that’s exactly where we have to start… examining what we have in our life that sparks joy and list what you could care less for. What drains you? What separates you from God? What brings you joy? Man oh man, it’s the hard questions that make you laser focus on what really matters, and what can be left behind. This past January and on going into February, I’ve been doing just that; asking the hard questions. I’ve felt so disconnected to God and yet so into what I want and what I thought I needed this past year and years, I truly lost focus on what I’ve been called for. Recognizing the businesses and the blessings God has presented to me was to be stewarded well and, well, I have not. Yes, we can do the best to our ability but if we aren’t inviting God into the space are we really doing the best to our ability without His strength? Are we really doing any good laboring for our pride, for praises? Is it not better to do everything in worship and honor for the LORD knowing from Him we receive our Reward? Our Father wants to bless us with His Presence we don't even invite him in our day, home, workplace dare I even say in Church. Where is our head? What are we thinking? What actions are my thoughts producing? It's an active warfare we live in and submitting our thoughts to God is the first step in producing Good fruits, for good is God , all the time! And all the time, God is good! We've all heard this saying, so let's not let it go past our heads. We can't expect to do good without the Being, Who is Good. God has truly opened my eyes, revealing how steadfast I was to obtain worldly favor (that does not fill the void in our hearts), and how to deny my flesh and pursue Him through His Word, through prayer and fasting; and obtain the favor that truly matters, from Jesus Christ, Our Creator and Savior. The LORD of lords, KING of kings, Who is, Who was and Who is to come, Who washes all sins and makes things new. I invite you, no, I challenge you to try (taste and see...Psalm 34:8) Jesus Christ, my LORD and Savior as I'm returning to my first love.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36.

It starts with our thoughts; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.

P.S. Faith is whomever is reading this. Why 'Faith'? Well, because when all goes dark, faith will get us through the storm, for we serve a FAITHFUL God.

God bless you and your(s) Faith, talk to you soon. We love you but God loves you so much more. With love and humility, Cristal
